Tags

Tag fields are used to enter ship unit or line item attributes so they can be used when searching for order bases, order releases, shipments, and freight forwards. Tags entered on an order base ship unit or line item also appear on any order release that is created from the order via the Release Instructions section of the Order Base Ship Unit or Order Base Line Item pages. Tag fields are also copied to a shipment. These fields are user-defined and could represent the following attributes:

• Tag 1 - Color Code (e.g., 308)
• Tag 2 - Color (if Tag 1 = 308, then Tag 2 = Red)
• Tag 3 - Size (Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large)
• Tag 4 - Carton Range (numeric range of cartons denoting item packaging)
