Data Configuration Rules

This page is accessed via Master Data > Power Data > Configurations > Data Configuration Rules.

In this page you can configure rules that will be used while creating trade transactions from Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) shipments.

Adding a Data Configuration Rule

  1. Enter a unique identifier in the Data Configuration Rule ID field. You will use this ID when you refer to this configuration rule on other pages.
  2. Enter the priority of the rule in the Priority field. In cases where multiple rules are configured, the rule with highest priority will be considered.
  3. Select a domain in which this data configuration rule will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
  4. Select the Active check box if the new rule will be active immediately.
  5. Enter the dates during which the configuration rule will be valid in the Effective Date and Expiration Date fields.
  6. If desired, enter additional information about the data configuration rule in the Description field.
  7. Select a profile from the Transport Mode Profile drop-down list.
  8. Enter an ID in the Shipment Type field.
  9. Select a qualifier from the Shipment Reference Number Qualifier drop-down list.
  10. Enter a reference number in the Shipment Reference Number field.
    OR
  11. Enter an ID in the Saved Query field.

Note: If both Shipment Reference Number and Saved Query are present, then the Shipment Reference Number will be considered and not the Saved Query.

  1. Enter an ID in the Data Configuration field.
  2. Click Finished.
