Apply Item Template Action
This page is accessed via:
- Classification > Items > Actions > Apply Item Template
- Master Data > Items > Actions > Apply Item Template
Use this action to add information contained on a selected item template to one or more items.
Note: This action can also be run as a process in the Process Manager.
Applying an Item Template
- Select one or more items on the Item Manager Finder.
- Run the action.
- On the Apply Item Template page, select a template in the Item Template ID field.
- Select the Override option if the information on the selected template is to override information that already exists on the item(s).
- Click Apply.
- The Apply Item Template Result page will open. The page lists the Item Template ID, the item(s) updated, and the success or failure of the action.
