Contact Profile

This page is accessed via Operational Planning > Power Data > Appointments > Contact Profile.

This page is used to enter contact profiles. Contact profiles are used when working with location resources. Contact profiles contain a list of contacts. Such a list can be used to filter and determine if a shipment can be staged at that location. This compatibility is determined by comparing the contacts in the contact profile against the contacts listed in the shipment involved parties. The list of contacts is either inclusive or exclusive, based on the Compatible check box.

Defining a Contact Profile

1. Enter a unique identifier in the Contact Profile ID field.
2. Enter a Contact Profile Name.
3. Select a domain in which this contact profile will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
4. Select the Compatible check box to indicate that if any of the contacts on the profile match the contacts in a shipment's involved parties list, then the shipment can use the location resource with which the contact profile is associated. If the Compatible check box is not selected, then if any of the contacts on the profile are also on a shipment's involved parties list, then the shipment CANNOT use the associated location.

Contact Profile Details

1. Enter a Contact ID.
2. Click Save for each contact ID entered.
3. Click Finished.
