Business Number Type

This page is accessed via Business Process Automation > Power Data > Business Numbers > Business Number Type.

You can find, create, and edit business number types generated by Business Number Generators (BNGs). You cannot modify or delete the default business number types for the public data BNG, but you can modify their business number rules.

Adding a Business Number Type

1. Enter a unique BN Type ID.
2. Enter a BN Context ID. A BN context defines which XML substitutions are available for generating the business number type.
3. Select a domain from the Domain Name drop-down list.
4. Use the Table Name and Column Name fields if you are using named ranges.
5. Click Finished.

Note: If you add your own BN type it can only be used for the Generate Refnum agent action.
