  1. In the Rail Intermodal Service Plan ID field, enter a two-digit code specifying the type of intermodal service plan for a rail shipment (for example, 15 for Plan 15, ramp-to-ramp). These codes are determined by the American Association of Railroads (AAR).
  2. In the Unit Owner field, enter the type of carrier (for example, rail or steamship).
  3. In the Service Provided field, enter the type of service provided by a carrier (for example, ramp-to-ramp, door-to-door).
  4. In the Charge Determination field, enter a brief description of the type of charges that apply to the shipment (for example, truck competitive rates or patron supplied equipment).
