Querying on the Logistics Guide allows you to create a routing guide containing the best options for orders for one source/destination pair or all source/destination pairs. The guide is a quick reference to the best-cost shipping options for particular lanes. With the logistics guide, you need a process to generate the data required for the routing guide. Then, you need the ability to retrieve the data. This is done in Process Management using the Build Logistics Guide option.

You may want to use the logistics guide if the sales group wants to see a new routing guide every month that shows the best-cost options for a given source/destination pair.

  1. Select a Logistics Guide ID.

Note: You must have created the Logistics Guide Template first.

Note: You must also run the Build Logistics Guide or the query will not return any results.

  2. For the origin address, enter a Location ID or at least one value into any of the other origin address fields.
  3. For the destination address, enter a Location ID or at least one value into any of the other destination address fields.
  4. Click Run. The query results appear.
