Approve for Execution

This action is accessed via Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Sell Shipments or Buy Shipments >  Actions > Shipment Management > Tender > Approve For Execution.

Use the this action to indicate that the shipment planning is finished. The shipment can be tendered to a service provider, but Oracle Transportation Management does not tender the shipment for you. Select this option when you do not want the shipment tendered automatically.

Note: To approve a shipment for execution and have Oracle Transportation Management tender it automatically, select the Secure Resources action under the Tender action on the Shipment Manager Results page.

You can run shipments that have the status type and status value SECURE_RESOURCES_NOT STARTED. When you approve a shipment for execution, Oracle Transportation Management changes the status to REVIEW_EXECUTE.
