Force Assign Driver (to Shipment)

This page is accessed via Shipment Manager > Shipment Manager > Buy Shipments > Actions > Fleet Management > Force Assign > Driver.

Use this action to assign a driver to a shipment regardless of feasibility. You may know that using this driver will cause the shipment to be late, but want to use this driver anyway.

If the shipment has a special service that cannot be ignored, (the Ignorable check box under Planning is not selected), Force Assign will not work. The Ignorable check box is a hard constraint. Special services that are ignorable will be ignored and the Force assign action will run.

Note: This action will function for CLOSED-DETACHABLE shipments, but not for STATIC or DYNAMIC shipments.
