Sourcing Lane Attribute Definition

This page is accessed via Sourcing > Setup > Sourcing Lane Definition. On the Sourcing Lane Definition page, click New beside the Lane Attributes Def ID field.

The Lane Attribute Def ID is used to associate an attribute name and value to the lane definition. A lane attribute will typically be a description of the lane and is used to identify the lane is some unique way. This is used for information only by the Oracle Transportation Sourcing component.

Note: You can also enter information about a lane using remarks on the OTM Lane Definition.

Creating a Lane Attribute Def ID

1. Enter a Lane Attribute Def ID.
2. Enter a Value and click Save.
3. Repeat step 2 if adding more than one value.

Note: If adding more than one value, the resulting values will appear in the carrier response template as a list separated by commas (e.g., value1, value2, etc.).
