Create Consol - Air

This page is accessed via Operational Planning > Schedule Management > Air. Select an air schedule. Then click the Create Consol button.

Use this action to create a consol and corresponding consol shipment from a flight.

You can book orders into the newly created consol using the Book to Buy Consol sell shipment action.

When you run this action, you are prompted for the flight Departure Date (day, month and year), perspective, and service provider. The Service Providers listed are only those assigned to the interim flights for the flight ID you selected. If there is one distinct service provider, you are not prompted for a selection.

Planning logic first finds the corresponding flight instance (creates a new one if an existing one cannot be found) and creates a consol for the flight instance. A consol shipment is also created.
