Performance Collection

This page is accessed via Configuration and Administration > Technical Support > Performance Collection.

Note: You must be a DBA to access this page.

Note: FTP is not supported.

This page is used to gather details of your performance. The details can be sent to a contact via email, or they can be saved to a local directory.

  1. Select the Format for the collection; either HTML or XML. The HTML is auto-generated. It is self-contained and can be emailed without required scripts, images or other links.
  2. Select the Display check box if you want to display the results on the browser. You may choose not to select it so as to not overload the browser. Select this check box to run the collection asynchronously.
  3. To forward the results to a contact, enter the Contact, Communication Method, and, optionally, a Reply To for the response. The communication Method is Email. Emails have a maximum attachment size. The default is 5Meg. Diagnostics sent via email are encrypted by default. You can disable encryption using glog.diag properties.

    To write the results to a local directory on the application server, enter the File Directory.
  4. Optionally, enter a Description for the collection.
  5. Select the Performance Collection Types to be collected using the right and left arrows. Everything in the right panel is selected and will be collected.
  6. Click Collect.
