Send Pickup Notification

This page is accessed via Shipment Management > Group Management > Shipment Group > Actions > Shipment Management > Pickup > Send Pickup Notification.

Use this action to send a shipment group pickup notification. It sends the notification to the primary contact of the service provider.

For this action to execute successfully, the Shipment Group Status must be set to either:

• GROUP PICKUP_NOT NOTIFIED: if this is the initial notice sent to the service provider, then it must make sure that a prior notice was not sent.
• GROUP PICKUP_CANCELLED: if a notice was sent, but then cancelled, then there are no prior notifications that the current one would override.

The method of communication for the notification is based on the Contact information for the Service Provider.
