About Supplier Solicitation

Oracle Global Trade Management's (GTM) Supplier Solicitation and Campaign Management capabilities are designed for companies that need to solicit data and/or documents from partners that they conduct business with. A common scenario is soliciting suppliers prior to the importing of goods. You can solicit for classification, country of origin and trade agreement qualification data as well as supporting documentation within a single campaign. Or you can choose to solicit for a subset of that data within a campaign. The configuration will tell GTM what information you are looking for from partners. Campaigns allow the solicitation of trading partners to be conducted at large scale while streamlining the effort required by the user.

Supplier solicitation and campaign management helps you to collect data and/or documents you require in support of trade compliance and customs processes. You can:

• Define campaign types that establish data elements and documents to be collected during a solicitation campaign
• Create campaigns to collect data and/or documents related to Items, including classification, country of origin, and/or trade agreement qualification information
• Notify suppliers of your solicitation request and provide instructions to respond correctly
• Allow suppliers to directly upload information and documents in response to the campaign
• Review and approve submissions prior to allowing data to be used in production processes
