Scenario Bulk Plan

This page is accessed via:

  • Logistics Network Modeling > Modeling Project > Actions > Scenario Bulk Plan
  • Logistics Network Modeling > Modeling Scenario > Actions > Scenario Bulk Plan

The Scenario Bulk Plan screen shows the Modeling Scenario IDs and enables you to compare results.

With this action, you can select a project or a scenario and run the scenario bulk plan. Any previous bulk plans along with the shipments and any output data associated with the scenario are deleted before re-planning.

In the Scenario Bulk Plan action, the periodic multiple bulk plan logic considers failed orders in the subsequent bulk plans, if they are feasible for the period considered in the plan. The property glog.business.LNMBulkPlan.maxOrderReplanCount controls the maximum number of times the order can be reconsidered for planning in the same scenario bulk plan action. The order will be reconsidered for planning in a subsequent bulk plan when it fails in the current bulk plan. It is honored only in periodic bulk plans that are executed in series.

Note: This does not apply to the bulk plan. The BULK_PLAN table contains the PROJECT_GID and SCENARIO_GID.

After submitting the process, you can click View Log to see its process log, any processing errors, and other diagnostic information.

In the top grid, besides the Bulk Plan, Modeling Scenario ID, and Bulk Plan Specification IDs, you see the number of orders selected, the bulk plan, and planning milestone statuses.

Scenario Bulk Plan Comparison

This section gives the details for the scenario bulk plan specifications for the scenarios selected. If more than one scenario was selected, they are listed side-by-side so you can compare them. If there is no Group By defined and only one bulk plan specification ID is defined with the number of periods equal to 1, then only 1 bulk plan results. Otherwise, there will be more than one. See the Bulk Plan help topic for an explanation of the fields.
