Shipment Group Booking/Tendering

This page is accessed via Shipment Management > Group Management > Shipment Group Tender.

The Shipment Group Booking/Tendering page provides summary information for the shipment group that was tendered to you. In addition to viewing the summary information, you can either accept or decline the tender by clicking the appropriate button at the bottom of the page.

Shipment Group Booking/Tendering

• The Tender Group ID uniquely identifies an entire group of shipments being tendered.
• The Shipment Group ID uniquely identifies a shipment group.
• The Transaction No field defines the number used during the shipment group booking/tendering.
• The Service Provider uniquely identifies the service provider. You may want to include the name of the service provider in the Service Provider ID so that it can be identified elsewhere.
• The Tender Group Offer Status field displays the current status of the tender offer for shipment group booking/tendering.
• The Tender Group Acceptance Status field shows the current state of the shipment group tender by a service provider. The status can be one of three values:

  • Accepted: The service provider has agreed to the tender.

  • Declined: The service provider has rejected the tender.

  • No Response: The tender has been sent to the service provider, but they have not yet responded.

• The Respond By field specifies the deadline by which the service provider must respond to the tender offer. It includes a specific date and time, after which the tender offer will be either withdrawn or considered as invalid.
• The Responding User field identifies the user who performs the action on the tender offer.
• The Source Location ID and the Destination Location ID identify the two main locations between which the shipment group is travelling.
• The Pickup Date field specifies the date and time by which the first shipment in the group is scheduled to be picked up from its source location.
• The Delivery Date field  specifies the date and time by which the last shipment in the group is scheduled to be delivered to its destination location.

Reference Numbers

Use this section to view reference numbers associated with shipment group that was tendered.

Full Shipments

Use this section to view the complete list of individual shipments included in the shipment group being tendered.

Secondary Charges

Use this section to view the list of secondary charges included in the shipment group being tendered.

Remarks

Use this tab to view remarks associated with shipment group that was tendered.
