About Oracle AI for OTM and GTM

Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management leverages Oracle Generative AI and AI Agent Studio to take advantage of Oracle AI functionality.

With AI embedded in Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management, AI outcomes  are available where they’re immediately needed. The AI helps you get business insights faster, automate routine tasks, access personalized recommendations, and improve business performance. AI is built into OTM so you don't need data scientists or machine learning experts.

OTM GenAI Assistants

To enable these generative AI (GenAI) assistants, you must set the glog.genAI.enabled property to true.

AI Assistant

Shipment Summary

The Shipment Summary AI Assistant allows you to view summarized information about a shipment. The summarization may include details about the assigned service provider, cost, equipment utilization, and expected delivery date. This feature is available via Shipment Summary action which opens a Shipment Summary Workbench.

OTM Assistant

Saved Query Analysis

The OTM Assistant available on non-finder saved queries can help you improve the performance of your custom saved queries before you use them in production. And, it can help you analyze and resolve query performance issues.

Explain Plan

The Explain Plan Analysis feature performs an Explain Plan for custom sql to help users identify possible syntax and performance issues. To run SQL Analysis, click on the Explain Plan button while editing the Saved Query Definition. The output is the raw explain plan output from the database.

AI Chat

You can use agentic AI in OTM to review bulk plan diagnostics and run rate inquiries. Oracle AI Studio Agents in OTM/GTM are accessed via AI Chat.
