Additional Task Filtering based on Location Scan

Task Determination By

If The Task Determination By parameter is set to 'Task Type', the system will prompt you to type a task type code. If this parameter is set to 'Task Description', the system will prompt you to type a task description.

You can enter multiple Task Types by comma separators.

Task Search Location Determined Mode

If the Task Search Location Determined parameter (task-search-loc-detr-mode) is set to ‘System Determined’, the system will keep the last location where the user was located. If set to ‘User Determined’ the system will prompt you for the location after every completion of the task.

The following is an example user flow when the task-search-loc-detr-mode parameter is set to ‘User Determined’:

Let’s say Prompt for Location on Launch is set to Yes, and the Nearest Task to Search is set to Area:

  1. Execute Task Screen launches
  2. You enter the location
  3. You determine/select the tasks matching the scanned location’s area.
  4. After you complete the first task, the location prompt will display again.

The following is the user flow when the task-search-loc-detr-mode parameter is set to ‘System Determined’:

Let’s say Prompt for Location on Launch is set to Yes, and the Nearest Task to Search is set to Area

  1. Execute Task Screen launches
  2. You enter the location
  3. You determine/select the tasks matching the scanned location’s area.
  4. After you complete the first task, the system will determine the next task based on the last location you visited.
