Handling Attributes for Non-WMS Activities

As of release 26B, the following handling attributes have been introduced in WFM for Non-WMS Activities:

  • Handling Entity – This is a mandatory field and describes the entity that was handled by an employee while performing a Non-WMS activity. The handling entity can be an Item, LPN, or Pallet.
  • Handling UOM – If the handling entity is an item, UOM must be specified. If the entity is LPN or Pallet, the UOM is defaulted to LPNs and Pallets respectively.
  • WFM Item Category - If the handling entity is an item, item category can also be specified (optional).
  • LPN Type - If handling entity is LPN or Pallet, LPN Type can be specified (optional).
  • Handling Quantity – This is a mandatory field and represents the quantity handled during the activity.
Goals can be defined in Employee Activity Goals view for each Non-WMS activity based on the handling attributes.
Note: SKU Line Group will no longer be used for Non-WMS activities. Instead WFM Item Category can be used when Handling Entity is Item and LPN Type can be used when Handling Entity is LPN or Pallet. Both WFM Item category and LPN Type are optional.
