17.5 Export the Oracle Data Transforms Image

You need to export the Data Transforms image that you created in OCI Marketplace to an Object Storage location, which you will then import into your Compute Cloud@Customer environment.

To export the Data Transforms image,

1. From the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure left navigation menu, click Compute. Under Compute, select Custom Images.
2. From the displayed list, select the name of the image that you created in Create an Oracle Data Transforms Image.
3. Click Actions, click Export.
4. On the Export image page, select Export to an Object Storage bucket and select a bucket from the drop-down list.
5. Enter a name for the exported image.
6. From the the Image format list, select Oracle Cloud Infrastructure file with a QCOW2 image and OCI metadata (.oci).
7. Click Export Image.

   The image state changes to Exporting. Exporting a custom image copies the data to the Object Storage location that you specified. When the export is complete, the image state changes to Available.
