17.6 Generate an Object Storage Pre-Authenticated Request URL

After the exported image is available in the bucket, you need to generate a pre-authenticated Object Storage request URL to import the Data Transforms image into your Compute Cloud@Customer environment.

To generate the URL,

1. From the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure left navigation menu, click Storage. Under Object Storage & Archive Storage, select Buckets.
2. From the Buckets list page search for and select the bucket that you chose to store the exported image.
3. Select the Objects tab, and search for the exported image.
4. Click the Actions icon (three dots) and select Create pre-authenticated request.
5. On the pages that opens, select the Permit objects reads access type.
6. Click Create pre-authenticated request.
7. Copy the URL from the Pre-authenticated request details page. You will use this URL to import the image file into your Compute Cloud@Customer environment. See Import the Data Transforms Image on Compute Cloud@Customer.
