4 Session Browser

This chapter describes database sessions within active database connections.

The Session Browser of Oracle® Database Navigator plug-in provides you control and visibility of your active database sessions and monitor their performance. The session browser window allows you to perform following actions among others:

• view details of a connection session
• search for specific session data in all the listed sessions
• filter and sort session information based on various criteria
• manage sessions, disconnect or terminate sessions
• manage resource usage
