1.4.4 Accessing the TSAM Operations Assistant

On the Main Page of Oracle TSAM Plus Console, click Show Operations Assistant to open the Operations Assistant. If the current browser session has saved the assistant pane as visible, the console performs a readiness check and restores the pane when the check succeeds. If the check fails, the pane remains closed. The button remains unpressed, and an unavailable message offers Retry readiness check.

Click New Chat to start a blank chat. A server-side conversation is created only after the first request is sent. Existing conversations persist in the Conversations panel; reopening one makes it active and writable. Click Hide Operations Assistant at the top right to hide the pane without deleting the active conversation.
