1.1.5 Domains Dashboard
When you log into Oracle TSAM Plus monitoring console, the Domains Dashboard is displayed with overall Tuxedo domains and domain groups metrics. It presents the following information:
- Severity-level unread alert count. To read the alerts of a severity level, click the number after the level.
- An aggregated view of all domains components availability. When clicking the inactive (red) part of a pie chart, a window is popped up showing all the inactive items in detail.
- All domains and domain groups metrics charts
The metrics charts show the related metrics data captured in the selected time range. When you move the cursor over a data node, the data value is shown up. For the metrics data collection interval, you can set it from the Management-> Global Parameters page. For more information, see Global Parameters.
The domains dashboard always displays the first three metrics charts positioned in individual domain or domain group dashboard for a quick glimpse. By default, these charts are displayed with the data for all services in last 24 hours.
- Throughput
The number of Tuxedo service calls per minute.
- Response Time
The average response time (in microseconds) of Tuxedo service calls.
- Failure Number
The number of Tuxedo service call failures per minute
For the domain groups presented in the dashboard, you can manage them from the Management -> Domain Group Management page. For more information, refer to Domain Group Management.
From any domain or domain group dashboard, you can set the dashboard to refresh the data periodically by choosing the Auto Refresh box on the top and specifying the refresh interval from the list. The refresh interval you set affects all dashboard pages.
Note:
This feature is only available when Oracle database is used, and is not available if you are using Derby database.
