Restrict access to business data

Access to an Essbase application does not necessarily mean access to every value in its cube.

Use Essbase filters to restrict users to the portions of data appropriate for their responsibilities. For example, a regional manager might be permitted to work with data for one region without having access to other regions.

Where practical, assign access to groups of users with similar responsibilities instead of maintaining equivalent permissions separately for each user.
