Lab Issues
1. My lab is not ready yet. How long will it take to build?
The lab will be ready within 20 minutes after your request.
Note: Some labs require more than 20 minutes to build. When you request a lab, you will be informed about the time required to build the lab.
If your issue remains unresolved (Requires Oracle Login):
2. My lab machine is slow or unresponsive
To check your network’s capabilities, open the command line by clicking the Start button and typing cmd. The command line program should appear. Open it, then type:
ping ouconnect.oracle.com
The command will run and provide the latency in milliseconds:
- A value below 200 ms does not cause perceivable performance issues;
- A value between 200–250 ms should provide good performance;
- A value above 250 ms will severely impact performance; change your connection for optimal latency.
