Oracle Autonomous Health Framework (AHF) 26.2 Release Notes Summary

  • Exadata Live Update status in Exachk reports: Exachk now displays the Exadata Live Update status for database servers in its Infrastructure and Configuration Summary, in both HTML and JSON output. This applies to Exadata KVM host and guest VM environments.
  • Clear patching-state visibility: The status is derived from the imagehistory command on each compute node. It distinguishes systems with no updates, systems updated through traditional patching, Live Updates that still require a reboot, and Live Updates successfully finalized after reboot.
  • Easier identification of nodes needing action: Exachk groups compute nodes by their Live Update status. This helps administrators quickly identify nodes that are pending a reboot or have inconsistent patching states across the environment.
  • New Orachk and Exachk best-practice check: The release adds the Exadata Critical Issue DB55 check, extending proactive detection of known Exadata risks.
