Metrics Dashboard Prerequisites

The Metrics Dashboard can utilize either the Enterprise Manager repository or the Exadata Warehouse as a data source, as specified by the Data Source option.

Regardless of the data source, the Exadata Management Pack or Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance Management Pack must be enabled for the Database Machine or Recovery Appliance target, respectively. If the required Management Pack is enabled for the target, the EM Repository radio button is enabled. To use Exadata Warehouse, the Database Machine or Recovery Appliance target must also be configured to send metric data to Exadata Warehouse via Enterprise Manager Cloud Bridge. Once configured, the Exadata Warehouse radio button is enabled. When Exadata Warehouse is specified as the data source, you can optionally display forecast data for the selected metrics by selecting the Include Forecast check box.
