Access Files Through SMB
Connect to the ECP Data Bridge SMB share from a supported Windows or macOS system to access files stored locally on the Cloud Connector.
The ECP Data Bridge SMB share provides local network access to files downloaded from configured sources. Files copied directly to the SMB share and files downloaded through a transfer job use the same local storage.
Use the username and password configured for an ECP Data Bridge account to connect to the share. The account's read-only or read-write role determines which file operations are available.
You can connect to the SMB share by using the Cloud Connector hostname or IP address. Hostname-based access is preferred because it can continue to work when the Cloud Connector IP address changes.
