Configure OCI Object Storage
Register the ECP Data Bridge public key in OCI and configure the destination used for Object Storage uploads.
ECP Data Bridge uses an OCI API key to authenticate with OCI Object Storage. Complete the OCI configuration before initiating a file transfer.
ECP Data Bridge generates a public and private key pair when the application starts. The private key remains in secure storage. Use the ECP Data Bridge local UI to obtain the public key, and register the public key with the OCI user used for Object Storage access.
After registering the public key, use the ECP Data Bridge runtime configuration to provide the destination details:
-
OCI user OCID
-
OCI tenancy OCID
-
OCI region
-
OCI Object Storage bucket name
The OCI user must have access to the target bucket. Use an IAM policy that grants only the permissions required to validate access and upload files to that bucket. ECP Data Bridge does not create or manage the OCI tenancy, user, bucket, or IAM policy.
Complete the following topics in order:
- Obtain the ECP Data Bridge Public Key
- Register the Public Key in OCI
- Configure the Object Storage Destination
After the configuration is applied, files are uploaded to the configured bucket automatically when the download stage of a transfer completes successfully.
