Available SIP Policy Reports
The Oracle® Session Delivery Management Cloud (Oracle SDM Cloud) provides the following SIP Policy Reports and Filters.
- SIP Policy Dashboard—The SIP Policy Dashboard provides a centralized view of SIP local policy and routing performance. It visualizes key metrics such as lookup activity, hit and miss rates, constraint violations, and security challenge events across devices over time.
This dashboard helps you monitor routing efficiency, identify policy failures, and evaluate the impact of resource constraints and authentication mechanisms on call handling.
Key Insights:- Distribution of local lookup activity, including hits, misses, and drops
- Routing success and failure rates for session agents and agent groups
- Trends in constraint exceedance for inbound, outbound, and registrar session agents
- Patterns in request challenges, challenge resolutions, and dropped requests
- Time-based analysis of routing and policy behavior using epoch time

- Local lookup trends—This line chart displays the counts of local lookups, hits, drops, and misses over time. The Y-axis represents the number of events, while the X-axis shows epoch time.
Each device is represented by a distinct shape, making it easy to compare performance across devices and identify device-specific trends or anomalies. The chart helps analyze SIP routing efficiency and detect potential failure patterns.

- Max SA Hit & Miss Trends with Clusters—This stacked area chart shows session agent (SA) hit and miss counts over time. The Y-axis represents the number of hits and misses, while the X-axis displays epoch time.
Clustering analytics are used to group similar traffic patterns, making it easier to identify recurring behaviors, unusual routing conditions, and periods of reduced session agent availability across devices. This visualization helps highlight trends in routing success and failure.

- Requests Challenged by Requests found with outlier classification—This scatter plot visualizes the relationship between requests challenged and challenges found to assess the effectiveness of SIP authentication and security mechanisms. Outlier detection highlights abnormal patterns that may indicate failed challenge processing, incorrect configurations, or potential security threats.

- Inbound SA Constraints by Outbound SA Constraints with outlier classification—This scatter plot shows the relationship between inbound and outbound session agent (SA) constraint exceedances. It helps analyze capacity limits and resource utilization patterns across devices.
Outlier classification highlights unusual combinations of constraint exceedances, which may indicate congestion, configuration issues, or imbalances between inbound and outbound traffic handling.

- Max No routes found & Missing dialog trends with Clusters—This combo chart displays the counts of “No Routes Found” and “Missing Dialog” events over time. The Y-axis represents the number of events, while the X-axis shows epoch time.
Clustering analytics group similar behavior patterns, making it easier to identify recurring issue periods, correlated failures, and unusual signaling conditions that may impact SIP call processing.
