Deleting Published P6 Project and Baseline Data

Perform the steps below to delete published project data. This is useful when you no longer need to report on projects which are completed, but you need to retain the projects in your database.

You can choose to delete published data for a set of projects or all projects.

Note:

When you delete published data for a project, P6 also deletes the published data for its associated baselines.

To manually delete all P6 project data:

  1. On the "" Navigation Menu, expand "" Projects and click EPS.
  2. On the EPS page:
    1. On the Actions "" menu, click Delete Published Data.

To manually delete P6 project data for a set of projects:

  1. On the "" Navigation Menu, expand "" Projects and click EPS.
  2. Open all the projects whose published data you want to delete.
  3. On the "" Navigation Menu, expand "" Projects and click Activities.
  4. On the Activities page:
    1. On the Actions "" menu, click Delete Published Data.

Tip:

  • Only Admin Superusers or users with the Delete Published Project Data privilege assigned can delete published data.
  • You can delete published baseline data without deleting published project data in the Define Baselines dialog of the EPS or Activities pages.
