BI Publisher Versus Document Composition Applications

Using BI Publisher as your external reporting tool to display an online letter image differs from using document composition applications as follows:

• An extract file is not required when using BI Publisher. The sample reports provided to use with these external report tools do not have to extract information from another object to merge into a letter.
• Generating letters in batch is not supported yet.
