How To Handle A Shipment Of New Assets

If you receive a shipment of new items, follow the following steps:

• Create a new item for each type of item that's received. These items serve as the "templates".
• Go to the Item Replicator to create multiple copies of the template item(s). Before you are allowed to replicate the new item, you must define the stock location at which the items will be stored.

If you receive a shipment of new meters, follow the following steps:

• Create a new meter for each type of item that's received. These meters serve as the "templates".
• Add a meter configuration for each template meter using Meter Configuration Maintenance.
• Go to the Meter Replicator to create multiple copies of the template meter(s). Before you are allowed to replicate the new meter, you must define the stock location at which the meters will be stored.
