Notification Upload Staging - Characteristics/Context
Use this page to either characteristic records or context records to define data related to the NUS record. Either collection may be used as an alternative to defining an extension record. Refer to Process X - Populate Notification Upload Staging for more information.

Description of Page
The Upload Staging ID is the unique identifier of the notification upload staging (NUS) record.
The Characteristics collection enables you to define a collection of Characteristic Types and Characteristic Values defining data related to the NUS record.
The Context collection enables you to define a collection of Context Types and Context Values defining data related to the NUS record.
The values for this field are customizable using the Lookup table. This field name is NT_UP_CTXT_FLG.
You will notice that both the characteristic collection data and the context collection data may be modified even when the parent NUS record is Complete . This is to enable a user to correct problems with this data as detected by the validation event. Refer to Validation of Data Related to the Notification Upload Staging Records for more information.
