Starting Service and Field Activities

When you initiate a request to start service, the system creates a service agreement in the state of pending start. If the service agreement is service point-oriented, pending field activities necessary to start will be created at some point prior to the service agreement being activated. The question is when? The contents of this section provide information about when they are created and what types of activities are created.

Fastpath:

When you enable the Control Central alert algorithm, C1-PEND-STRT, an alert displays when there is a pending start service agreement linked to the account. This algorithm is plugged-in on the installation record.
