Understanding Metered Service Point Types

Metered service point types define a specific type of point at which service is delivered. Metered service point type are most often created via data synchronization with Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service (or Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter) and corresponding to service point types in those systems.

Metered service point types are defined by the following:

• Service Type: The type of service (such as Electric) available at metered service points of this type.

• Metered Service Point Business Object: The business object used when creating metered service points of this type.

• Divisions: One or more divisions associated with metered service points of this type.
