Understanding Integrations

Integrations with other Oracle Utilities applications help to provide clients with a complete application solution. This section identifies the specific product integrations that include Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management:
  • Esri ArcGIS:

GIS applications are widely used to manage assets, locations and other spatial data. The Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management GIS Integration interfaces with an Esri ArcGIS Portal/Server to allow users to view asset layers on a map, and to create and view work requests and work orders on the map.

Refer to Understanding GIS Integration for more information and configuration details.

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management can be integrated to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application, such as Enterprise Business Suite, to manage purchasing, financial, inventory, and human resource functional areas.

Refer to the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Connector for Enterprise Resource Planning documentation for more information.

  • Oracle Utilities Analytics:

Oracle Utilities Analytics Dashboards provide analysis of data from Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management or Oracle Utilities Operational Device Management using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition built-in metrics. Non-spatial analytics, information that is not tied to geography, is represented in a series of dashboards showing tables, bar graphs, pie charts, and gauges.
