Defining Crafts

The Craft portal is used to maintain craft resources. Crafts are the labor and skill required to work an activity.

Refer to Understanding Resource Requirements for more information.

You can access this portal from Admin, select C, then select Craft. The user is brought to a query portal with options for searching for a specific craft. Once the craft has been selected, you are brought to the maintenance portal to view and maintain the selected record.

The following zone may appear as part of the portals Main tab page:

• Craft: This zone provides information about the selected craft, including scheduling information, secondary crafts, and accounting information.
• Hourly Rate: This zone enables an hourly rate and effective date to be defined for the craft.
• Craft Notes: This zone displays any notes associated with the craft.
• Attachments: This zone enables users to manage all types of attachments for the craft record.
