Using Crew Info
Crew Info displays detailed crew information not shown in Crew Actions window. It allows you to unassign a crew or place a crew en route to any of its assigned events.

Opening Crew Info
To open the Crew Info window, do the following:
1. Select the crew:
From the Crew Actions List view, select the row of the crew you want to view.
From the Crew Actions Icons view, select the icon of the crew you want to view.
2. Click the Crew Info… button () or select Crew Info... from the Actions menu.

Transfer Zone...
Opens the Transfer Zone dialog box, which allows you to assign the crew to a temporary zone.

Understanding Crew Info Fields and Buttons
The Crew Info window contains the following fields and buttons:
The Crew ID field displays the string that identifies the crew.
The Mobile # field displays the crew's mobile phone number.
The Mobile Carrier field displays the wireless company providing service to the mobile phone or radio.
The Alternate Number field displays an alternate number for the crew.
The Alternate Number Type field displays the crew's alternate number type (for example, home, personal mobile, and so on).
The Pager # field displays the crew's pager number.
The Contact field displays the name of the crew's contact person.
The Type field displays the type of crew (for example, Eval, Service, Line, and so on).
The Temp/Perm field displays whether the crew is a temporary crew or a permanent crew.
The Control Zone field displays the control zone the crew is assigned to.
The Status field displays the crew's current status. Valid statuses are:
Inactive
Off Shift
On Shift
The Mobile Flag field indicates whether this is a mobile crew.
The Out of Range field indicates whether the crew is currently out of range (no connectivity).
Understanding the Crew Info Personnel Section
The Name column displays the names of all the crew members.
The Job Title column displays the job titles of all crew members.
The Empl ID column displays the employee ID of all crew members.
The OMA - Last Connected column displays the number of hours and minutes that the crew has been connected to OMA. If not connected, the column will be blank.
The OMA Login Duration column displays how long the OMA crew has been logged in.
Understanding the Crew Info Vehicles/Equipment Section
The Type field displays the vehicle types assigned to the crew.
The Vehicle ID column displays the ID of all vehicles assigned to the crew.
Understanding the Crew Info Active Jobs Section
The Active Jobs pane provides basic crew information, as well as information for the event where they are en route to/onsite at. It allows you to move and release crews. You can also use the Active Jobs pane to record that a crew has arrived onsite, to enter an estimated restoration time, and add an operations event note.
Components of the Active Jobs Pane
The Est Restore Time field displays the date and time when the event that the crew is en route/onsite is estimated to be restored. This time can be edited using date/time actions (see Using Date/Time Pickers). Select the Clear button to remove the Estimated Restore Time time (Clear ERT).
The Onsite/Not Onsite drop-down list allows you to designate whether the crew has arrived onsite or not. The date/time field (to the right) populates with the current time when you set the crew to Onsite. You may use the calendar button () to specify a different time. Validity checking is performed on the entered time and any time before the crew was set En-Route or after the current time will be flagged as an error.
The Suspend/Not Suspend check box indicates whether the crew is suspended. To suspend the crew, click the check box. The date/time field (to the right) populates with the current time when you check the box. The date/time field populates with the current time when you check the box. You may use the calendar button () to specify a different time, any valid time sets the drop-down to Suspend and clearing the time sets the drop-down to Not Suspend. Validity checking is performed on the entered time and any time before the crew was set En-Route or after the current time will be flagged as an error.
The Operations Event Note field allows you to enter new or modify existing notes about the event.
The Active Jobs table displays information about the event that the crew is en route to or onsite at, if applicable. The table contains the following information.
The Event # column displays the event number of the event that the crew is currently en route to or onsite at, if applicable.
The Crew Status column displays the status of the crew for this event (En Route or Onsite).
The Est Restore Time column displays the date and time when the event that the crew is en route/onsite is estimated to be restored.
The Feeder column displays the name of the feeder for the device where the crew is currently en route/onsite, if any.
The Device column displays the name of the device related to the event.
The # Calls column displays the number of calls for the event.
The # Out column displays the number of customers out for the event.
Button Section
The Apply button saves the changes you have made.
The Move Crew… button opens the Choose Work Location dialog box where you enter the location you want to move the crew to by selecting a device in the Viewer.
The Release Crew button releases the crew from the event.
Note: If you moved the crew, the change is still saved.
Understanding the Crew Info Current Assignment Section
The Event # column contains the event number of the event the crew is assigned to.
The Duration column displays the estimated amount of time that the crew will be assigned to the event. The system default duration is one hour.
The Assign Time column contains the time when the crew was assigned to the event.
The Feeder column contains the name of the feeder involved in the event.
The Device column contains the name of the device related to the event.
The # Calls column contains the number of customer calls received for the event.
The # Out column contains the estimated number of customers experiencing an outage for the event.
The Dispatch Time column contains the time when the crew was dispatched to the event.
Note: In the NMS product configuration, the Assign Time and Dispatch Time will be the same. Implementations may use a two step assign and dispatch that will result in different values in the Assign Time and Dispatch Time columns.
The Suspended column indicates whether the assignment was suspended.
Understanding Current Assignments Context Menu Options
When you right-click an assignment row, the following context menu options are available:
The Change Assignment Duration... option opens the Change Assignment Duration dialog box, which allows you to change the duration value. See Modifying a Crew Assignment Duration for details.
The Drop Assignment option removes the selected event from the list of crew assignments.
The Place En Route option places the crew en route to the selected event. Once the crew has been placed en route, the event will be displayed in the Crew Info Active Jobs table.
