Understanding GIS Integration

GIS applications are widely used to manage assets, locations, and other spatial data. Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management supports integration with ESRI ArcGIS using either the GIS file-based integration or the Legacy GIS integration between the systems and a GIS Map Viewer that allows users to view asset layers on a map, create work related to these assets, and more.

This integration requires several installation steps to be performed in Esri ArcGIS. Refer to the Installation Guide for more information.
