Resource Types needed on overheads are meant for indirect overhead. They are used to create Other Direct Charges or cost adjustments depending on what is defined on the Work Management Master Configuration as well as on the Overhead record.

Defining Service Classes

Construction or Construction Overhead

Used to categorize activity types, identify renewal work, and defaults cost center on construction work activity if populated.

Cost Center on Service Class is typically the default Work In Progress (WIP) account.
