OUAF Admin Setup

This section lists entities typically performed by an administrative user and are accessed from the Admin menu. Most of these objects establish global configuration. They are defined at implementation and usually do not change again.

The overall system uses the base currency defined in Installation Options, and all financial transactions use the base currency. However, the purchasing system supports other currencies which can be defined in the Currency portal.

1 Global Context Overview You will need to set up an algorithm that populates global context values. The global context is used by various zones in the system to display relevant data. This algorithm is plugged-in on the installation record.
2 Defining Installation Options Controls various aspects of the system. You must set up ‘Address Information’ and ‘Global Context’ algorithms.

2 Defining Feature Configurations

Prerequisites: The Checkbox Feature Configuration needs the custom UI Maps.

Add a feature configuration of feature type ‘Schema Constants’ and set the value for ‘Default Country’.

2 Characteristic Types If you need to introduce additional fields to objects that were delivered with minimal fields, you can add a characteristic type for each field you want to capture.
2 External Systems If you are using an integration you must configure the external system in this portal.
