About Communication Logs

Communication logs show all the communications made against a work document and its related work documents. For example, the Communications Log zone on a work request will display communication details when a service call led to the creation of that work request.

Communication logs are displayed on a variety of work records, such as work designs, work requests, work orders and construction work orders, and service calls. Log details provide users with the date and contact person who created the communication, any comments or responses, and the ability to view pertinent files and attachments. Users are able to add new, edit existing, or completely delete communication logs as additional information is received.
