2.6 Generic GL API

Overview

This enhancement introduces an API for creating GL transactions from external systems or services. The request includes all non-ID fields required for a GL_TXNS record and a collection of detail rows containing the non-ID fields for GL_TXN_DETAILS. Set the service’s ACTION parameter to CREATE to create the GL transaction and its details.

Validations

  1. API will not allow posting record for VOID or CLOSED Accounts.
