Creating a Chart Group Configuration

Introduction

Chart Group in Communication Cloud Service helps you to organize management details and Chart configuration. Set Active Date and add the Marketing Company while configuring Chart Group to view the Chart configuration availability under the Chart Group configuration.

Prerequisites

Following are the prerequisites to consider before creating a Chart Group configuration in Communication Cloud Service:

Ensure that you complete the prerequisites before proceeding.

Prerequisites	Details
Set the Config ID	Config ID must be Active. Ensure that all dependent configurations and associations are part of the same open Config ID. See Creating Config ID for more details.
Create entitlements	Ensure that you have the required entitlements to create a Chart Group. See Understanding Entitlements Management for information on Entitlements. See Transaction Types for Chart for entitlements required for Chart Group configuration.
Create Marketing Company configuration	Ensure that you have created the Marketing Company configuration that needs to be associated to the Chart Group configuration. See Creating Marketing Company for more details.

Creating Chart Group

1. Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.   
2. From Menu, select Configuration.
3. Under Configuration, select Chart and then select Chart Group. This redirects you to Chart Group landing page.
4. On the Chart Group landing page, select Create.
5. In the Basic Information section, enter Name, Long Name, and Description (optional) to identify the Chart Group. 
6. In the Brand (Marketing Company) section, select Add Marketing Company, and then select the Marketing Company that you want to associate to the configuration. 

   Note:

   You can associate only one Marketing Company per Chart Group configuration. 
7. In Status section, Active Date is set to the current date when the configuration is created. You can modify it to a future date, if required.  
8. Select Save to save the details or select Save & Exit to save the details and return to the landing page.

Maintaining a Chart Group Configuration

Introduction

You can update or delete a Chart Group configuration to cater to the changing business needs. When you replace or add new associations, ensure that those configurations belong to the same Config ID that you used to create the Chart Group configuration.   

If the initial Config ID used for creating a Chart Group configuration is closed, and if you want to edit the configuration, see Editing a Configuration after Closing the Config ID.

You can update the following Chart Group information:

• Editing a Chart Group Configuration: Update the basic information and Active Date, replace the Marketing Company of the Chart Group configuration.
• Deleting a Chart Group Configuration: Delete Chart Group configuration that you are no longer using, if the Config ID is open.

Editing a Chart Group Configuration

You can edit the basic information, Active Date, or replace the Marketing Company of Chart Group configuration.

Perform the following steps:

1. Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application. 
2. From Menu, select Configuration.
3. Under Configuration, select Chart, and then select Chart Group. This redirects you to the Chart Group landing page.
4. To edit the Chart Group configuration, follow either one of these options from the landing page: 
   1. From More Menu in Action column of the respective Chart Group configuration, select Edit.  
   2. From the Name column, select the required configuration to view its Summary page. Then from the Summary page, select Edit.

      This redirects you to the Update Chart Group page.

5. On the Update Chart Group page, modify the basic information and Active Date, if required.
6. To replace the Marketing Company, under Brand (Marketing Company) section, select More Menu under Actions column, and select Replace. Select a different Marketing Company belonging to the same Config ID.

Deleting a Chart Group Configuration

You can delete a Chart Group configuration if it is no longer required. Before deleting a configuration, you must ensure that the initial Config ID used for Chart Group configuration creation is open.

Perform the following steps:

1. Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
2. From Menu, select Configuration.
3. Under Configuration, select Chart and then select Chart Group. This redirects you to the Chart Group landing page.
4. To delete the Chart Group configuration, follow either one of these options from the landing page:
   1. From More Menu in Action column of the configuration, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.  
   2. From More Menu in Action column of the configuration, select Edit. This redirects you to the Update Chart Group page. From Actions on the top right corner, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
