Maintaining a Schedule
Introduction
Maintaining a Schedule configuration allows you to quickly address your organization’s requirement to change the frequency of Batch execution. This mainly involves a change to frequency attributes within the Schedule. Also, if a Schedule is no longer required, you can delete it.
Editing a Schedule
While editing a Schedule, you can make the following changes:
- Edit Basic Information: You can change details of the Schedule like, Name, Long Name, and Description.
- Edit Frequency: You can edit the Frequency attributes within the Schedule.
- Edit Active Date: You can edit the Active Date to another future date, or even leave it blank.
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Configuration.
- Select Batch, and then select Schedule.
- On the landing page, against the Schedule you want to edit, select Edit from More Menu in Action column. Alternatively, you can select the Schedule you want to edit. This opens the Summary page of the Schedule. You can select Edit on this page to start editing the details of the Schedule.
- To change the identification details of the Schedule, edit the following attributes under Basic Information: Name, Long Name, and Description.
- To change the frequency definition of the Schedule, edit the different options listed under Frequency section.
- To change the validity period of the Schedule, edit the Active Date.
- Once you make the required changes to the Schedule, select either Save to save the changes, or Save & Exit to save the changes and return to the landing page.
Deleting a Schedule
You can delete a Schedule if it is no longer required. However, it is possible to delete a Schedule only before it has been associated to a Batch configuration.
To delete a Schedule, follow the steps below:
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Configuration.
- Select Batch, and then select Schedule.
- On the landing page, against the Schedule you want to delete, select Delete from More Menu in Action column. Alternatively, you can select the Schedule you want to delete. This opens the Summary page of the Schedule. Select Edit to open the Update Schedule page and select Delete from the Actions menu.
