2.5.2 Backfiling a CTR

A CTR in Closed - Exempted, Closed - Rejected, or Closed - Superseded status can be reopened and amended to reflect new or updated information and then filed as "FinCEN directed Backfiling" type of filing to comply with regulations. As these reports will not have previously been filed, they are reopened for editing and amending rather than creating a new version of the report.
