Scenario Menu

The Scenario menu contains the following options:

• Create New Scenario: Creates a new scenario.
• Copy Scenario: Copies a scenario and the current pattern (not all patterns in a scenario are copied).
• Copy Pattern: Copies the current pattern and creates a new ID for that pattern within the same scenario. It does not copy the entire scenario or any other patterns within the current scenario.
• Save: Saves the current scenario with any changes you have made.
• Save As: Saves a copy of the open pattern with a unique ID.
• Revert: Reverts to the saved version of a pattern within a scenario. You can use this function when you have modified a pattern, however, you want to discard your changes and populate the component fields with the previous values.
• Export: Exports a rule pattern to an XML file.
• Generate Pattern Report: Creates an HTML file that contains detailed information about the current scenario pattern (refer to Generating a Pattern Report, for more information).
• Import: Imports a rule pattern from a previously exported scenario (in XML format).
• Edit Augmentation Rules: Enables you to add additional information (not used for data detection) to the Web Application pages to enable a business user to analyze data with in-house terminology that applies to their environment. Such values can include, however, are not limited to, Account Number or Stock Name. Refer to Augmentation, for additional information.
• Edit Threshold Analyzer Roles: Defines the Threshold Analyzer Roles. Refer to Defining Elements of a Threshold Analyzer Roles, for more information.
