About External Entity Screening Tab

This tab displays information pertaining to External Entity Screening events. This tab is available only for Customer Screening and Escalated Customer Screening cases.

The External Entity Screening tab has the following sections:
  • Alert Summary: details the alerts associated with the selected escalated customer screening case.
  • Event List: details the list of External Entity Screening Events associated with the selected case.
  • Matches List: details the list of matches associated with the selected case.
The following tasks are performed using the External Entity Screening tab:
  • View and analyze the list of External Entity Screening event details associated with the case
  • View and analyze the list of External Entity Screening match details associated with the case
  • View and analyze the individual External Entity Screening events details such as matches list, entity and watchlist details

Note:

If Oracle's Customer Screening application is implemented in your instance, any action taken on an escalated case is sent to the Customer Screening application as feedback.

Managing External Entity Screening List

The Event List section allows you to view the list of events associated with the selected case. This section also allows you to perform the following activities:
  • View the list of events and navigate to Event details to perform further analysis.
  • Based on the analysis, you can determine whether the event is true or false.

Deciding Event as True or False

To decide whether an Event is True positive or False positive, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the External Entity Screening tab.
  2. Select the required Event ID. Perform the complete analysis of the selected Event. For more information, see Managing Customer Screening Event Details.
  3. Select the whether the event is True positive or True positive from the drop-down list. A confirmation message is displayed.

Managing External Entity Screening Event Details

This section allows you to view and analyze the complete details of the selected Event.

Viewing Matches List

This section displays the list of watchlist matches associated with the selected event. This provides details of the Entity ID, Watchlist ID, Watchlist Primary Name, Match score, and Match Description.

Note:

The Matches List section is not displayed for Escalated Customer Screening case types.

Viewing Alert Summary

This section displays the details of the escalated alerts from the L1 Customer Screening system. This provides details of the Alert ID, Alert Type, Screening Type, Primary Name, Jurisdiction, Business Domain, Due Date, Assignee, Match score, Risk Score, and so on.

Note:

The Alert Summary section is only displayed for Escalated Customer Screening case types.

Viewing Entity and Watchlist Details

This section has the following subsections:
  • Watchlist Details: displays the complete details of the Watchlist pertaining to the selected event.
  • Entity Details: displays the complete details of the entity pertaining to the selected event.
